2.M. GRANT AWARD AND EXPENDITURE PLAN FOR THE JUSTICE\nASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 [D. RIVAS,\nA. SHANDI, J. ANUKAM]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider authorizing the acceptance of\n$22,025 funding awarded to the City of West Hollywood from the United\nStates Department of Justice’s Bureau allocation for the Edward Byrne\nMemorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) for the Fiscal Year 2023-24\nProgram.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Authorize staff to accept the $22,025 funding\nawarded to the City of West Hollywood from the US Department of\nJustice’s Bureau allocation of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice\nAssistance Grant (JAG) Fiscal Year 2023-24 Program; 2) Upon award of\nthe grant, authorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services to\nincrease revenues and expenditures by an equal amount, which will be\ndetermined upon successful award of the grant and is projected to be\n$22,025; 3) Authorize the expenditure of JAG funds to continue the Park\nSecurity Patrol Program; and 4) Authorize the City Manager, or designee,\nto execute documents incident to the grant.
