Public Hearing-Ordinance No. 2963 Amending Title 15, Section 15.36.420 related to\nFreeway-Orientated Signs and Sign Conditional Use Permit No. 28 to Consider a\nRequest to Construct a Freeway-Orientated Sign\n(Mayor to declare meeting open as a public hearing)\na. PUBLIC HEARING to consider ORDINANCE NO. 2963 (ORDINANCE TEXT\nAMENDMENT NO. 368), an ordinance amending Title 15 (Sign Code) of the\nRedlands Municipal Code by updating Section 15.36.420 relating to regulations\napplicable to the location of freeway-oriented signs. This proposal qualifies for an\nexemption from environmental review in accordance with the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).\nb. PUBLIC HEARING to consider SIGN CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 28, a\nrequest to construct a Freeway Oriented Sign for a motorist-serving business (drive-\nthrough restaurant) with an overall sign face exceeding 120 square-feet. The\nproposed sign is 95 feet high with a sign face consisting of 197.1 square-feet. The\nproject site is located at the southwest corner of West Lugonia Avenue and Citrus\nPlaza Drive, on the west side of the Interstate 210 freeway, within the General\nCommercial (EV/CG) District of the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan (APNs: 0169-\n341-09-0000 and 0169-341-07-0000). The proposal qualifies for exemption from\nenvironmental review in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act\nGuidelines Section 15311 for accessory structures such as on-premises\nsigns.
