County of\nLos Angeles, et al.\nLos Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of\nthe matter entitled, Estate of Dijon Kizzee, et al. v. County of Los Angeles, et al.,\nLos Angeles Superior Court Case No. 21STCV34142, in the amount of\n$3,375,000, and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement\nthis settlement from the Sheriff's Department's budget.\nThis civil rights lawsuit against the Sheriff's Department stems from the fatal\nshooting of Mr. Kizzee.
