14. 21st Annual County of Los Angeles Leadership Conference\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Horvath: Proclaim Thursday,\nJune 20, 2024, as “LA County on the World Stage Day” in support of the 21st\nAnnual County Leadership Conference; invite members of the Board , Executive\nOffice of the Board staff, Quality and Productivity Commissioners, County\nCommissioners, Advisory Board Members, related agencies’ staff, Department\nDirectors, County Executives, and Departmental Quality and Productivity\nManagers, to attend the conference on June 20, 2024 at the Music Center;\nwaive up to $1,000 in fees, excluding the cost of liability insurance, for use of\nthe Grand Hall and Lobby Area of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday,\nJune 20, 2024; waive the $20 per vehicle parking fee for approximately 220\nvehicles, for a total amount of $4,400, excluding the cost of liability insurance,\nat the Music Center Garage; and request the Director of Internal Services to\nprovide the necessary support services (e.g., transport of conference materials,\nlogistics, etc.) for activities related to the conference.
