53. Baldwin Hills Wayfinding and Trail Improvement Project\nRecommendation: Establish and approve the proposed Baldwin Hills Wayfinding\nand Trail Improvement Project, Capital Project No. 8A035, (Project) (2), with a\ntotal project budget of $499,000; approve an appropriation adjustment to reflect\nan increase of $499,000 in appropriation for the proposed Project, which will be\nfully offset with revenue as follows: $419,000 from the Baldwin Hills\nConservancy’s Climate Resilience, Wildfire Prevention, Community Access,\nand Natural Resources Protection Fund of 2021-2022, and $80,000 from the\nLos Angeles County Safe, Clean Neighborhood Parks, Open Space, Beaches,\nRivers Protection, and Water Conservation Measure grant program (Measure\nA); authorize the Director of the Parks and Recreation to deliver the Project\nthrough a Board-approved Job Order Contract; and find that the proposed\nProject is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
