51. Support Services in Student Wellbeing Centers Sole Source Contract\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health, to execute\nan amendment to sole source contract, with Planned Parenthood Los Angeles\nto continue the provision of support services in Student Wellbeing Centers at\nschools in the County, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, for a total\nmaximum obligation of $1,400,000, 100% offset by Substance Use Prevention,\nTreatment and Recovery Services Block Grant Funds, and authorize the\nDirector of Public Health, to take the following actions: (Department of Public\nHealth) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contract that extend the term of the contract\nfor up to four years through June 30, 2029, at amounts determined by\nthe Director of Public Health, based on funding availability, allow for a\nno-cost adjustment to the term through December 31, 2029, allow the\nrollover of unspent contract funds, if allowable by the grantor, provide an\nincrease or decrease in funding up to 10% above or below each term’s\nannual base maximum obligation, effective upon amendment execution or\nat the beginning of the applicable contract term, update the scope of\nwork and/or statement of work, as necessary, and correct errors in the\ncontracts terms and conditions;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that authorize modifications to\nthe budget with corresponding modifications to the statement of work\nand/or scope of work, that are within the same scope of services, as\nnecessary; and/or changes to hours of operation and/or service\nlocations; and\nImmediately suspend the contract upon issuing a written notice to\ncontractors who fail to fully comply with program requirements and to\nterminate the contract for convenience by providing a 30-calendar day\nadvance written notice to the contractor.
