APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT\nBIDS FOR THE CITYWIDE SHARED BIKE LANE (SHARROW) RE-STRIPING (CIP NO.\n3931)\nThe plans and specifications for the Citywide Shared Bike Lane (Sharrow) Re-Striping have been\nprepared. Approval of this item will allow the City to advertise the project for bids.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Citywide Shared Bike Lane (Sharrow) Re-\nStriping;\n2. Authorize staff to solicit competitive bids and publish the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids (NISB);\n3. Find that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Guidelines Section 15301(c); and\n4. Appropriate $85,000 in Measure R and M funds.\n6
