PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING THE MONTAGE FOR ITS 20TH\nANNIVERSARY\nRecommendation: Adopt the Proclamation recognizing the Montage for being a\ncommunity asset and partner to the City of Laguna Beach for 20 years.\nProclamation\nPublic Communications\n2. PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING LAGUNATICS’ 30TH ANNIVERSARY\n(MAYOR PRO TEM KEMPF)\nRecommendation: It is recommended by Mayor Pro Tem Kempf that the City Council\nadopt the Proclamation recognizing Lagunatics’ 30th Anniversary.\nProclamation\n3. RESOLUTION STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CITY MANAGER\nAND CONDEMNING ACTS OF BULLYING, HARASSMENT, AND\nVANDALISM AGAINST ANY PERSON (MAYOR WHALEN)\nRecommendation: It is recommended by Mayor Whalen that the City Council adopt\nthe Resolution titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, CONDEMNING VANDALISM AGAINST\nTHE CITY MANAGER’S HOME AND STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH HER\nAND CONDEMNING ACTS OF BULLYING, HARASSMENT, AND VANDALISM\nAGAINST ANY PERSON.”\nAgenda Report\nPublic Communications\nAdditional Public Communications\nPUBLIC COMMUNICATION\nAt this time, members of the Public may address the City Council regarding any items not on the\nagenda but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council. No action may be taken on off-\nagenda items unless authorized by law. Comments shall be limited to 3 minutes each and 30 minutes\nfor all comments, unless extended for good cause by the City Council.\nCOUNCIL AND STAFF REPORTS\nCONSENT CALENDAR\nThe Consent Calendar encompasses items that require no separate discussion; they may be enacted\nby one motion approving the various minute orders and resolutions. Second reading / adoption of\nOrdinances will be placed on the Consent Calendar. The Mayor will determine whether any items on\nthe Regular Order of Business should be transferred to the Consent Calendar. The Mayor will also\ndetermine whether any items should be removed from the Consent Calendar so that it may be\ndiscussed separately. A Councilmember, the City staff, or the public may request removal of an item\nfrom the Consent Calendar. Once any additions or removals are made, the Council will vote to\napprove all items remaining on the Consent Calendar, any item that was removed will be considered\nimmediately following the action on the Consent Calendar.\n4. MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS\nRecommendation: It is recommended by the City Clerk that the City Council approve\nthe Minutes of the Regular Meetings of the City Council of January 24 and February\n7, 2023.\nMinutes
