Whittier City School District Levying of Taxes\nRequest from the Whittier City School District (District): Adopt a resolution\nauthorizing the County to levy taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the principal\nof, and interest on, the District’s 2024 General Obligation Refunding Bonds\n(Bonds), in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $17,000,000; and\ndirect the Auditor-Controller to maintain on the 2024-25 tax roll, and all\nsubsequent tax rolls, taxes sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the debt\nservice schedules that will be provided to the Auditor-Controller by the District\nfollowing the sale of the Bonds.
