Extended Warranty Services Sole Source Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), authorize the Fire Chief to execute an amendment\nto a sole source contract between the District and ZOLL Medical Corporation,\nfor the continuation of ZOLL Medical Corporation’s extended warranty plan\nthrough May 31, 2025, at an estimated amount of $341,706.60, the cost is\ncomprised of a 12-month extension amount of $321,706.60 and annual pool\ndollars of $20,000 for the 12-month extension and consistent with prior\ndelegation of authority, to effectuate the termination of the contract in\naccordance with the provisions specified in the contract; and find that this\ncontract is still exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental\nQuality Act, as previously determined on May 25, 2021.
