52. Integrated HIV Surveillance and Prevention Programs Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept an\namendment issued from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\n(CDC), Assistance Listing Number 93.940, for the Integrated HIV Surveillance\nand Prevention Program (IHSPP) issued December 19, 2023, providing\nsupplemental funding of $2,110,145 and extending the budget and performance\nperiod from May 31, 2024, to July 31, 2024, with funding included in the\nDepartment of Public Health’s (DPH’s) Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Final Adopted\nBudget and will be included in future fiscal years, as necessary; accept and\nimplement a forthcoming award from the CDC for High-Impact HIV Prevention\nand Surveillance Programs (HIHPS) for Health Departments, under Funding\nOpportunity Announcement CDC-RFA- PS-24-0047, that will replace the\ncurrent IHSPP award, at an estimated amount not to exceed $16,909,787, for\nan estimated 10-month budget period effective August 1, 2024 through May 31,\n2025, with funding included in DPH’s FY 2023-24 Final Adopted Budget and will\nbe included in future fiscal years, as necessary, accept future awards and/or\namendments that are consistent with the requirements of these IHSPP and/or\nHIHPS CDC awards, and/or provide an extension and/or increase or decrease\nin funding; and accept future amendments that are consistent with the\nrequirements of the CDC awards that reflect non-material and/or ministerial\nrevisions to the award’s terms and conditions, allow for the rollover of unspent\nfunds, and/or redirection of funds as allowed by the grant.
