47. In-Home Supportive Services Providers and Recipients Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Social Services to execute a\ncontract with the Los Angeles County Personal Assistance Services Council for\nthe provision of services to In-Home Supportive Services providers and\nrecipients, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026, at annual Maximum\nContract Amounts (MCA’s) of $7,350,000 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 and\n$7,374,000 for FY 2025-26, with a two-year MCA of $14,724,000, funded by\nFederal and State revenue; and authorize the Director to take the following\nactions: (Department of Public Social Services) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contract to increase the MCA to include\nadditional funds as appropriated by the Board, and as appropriated by\nthe State during the two-year term and its extension period; and\nExtend the contract for up to one additional one-year period, and execute\namendments for instances which affect the scope of work, contract term,\ncontract amount, payment terms, or any term or condition in the\ncontract, additions and/or changes required by the Board, changes to be\nin compliance with applicable Federal, State, and County regulations,\nand increases or decreases of no more than 10% of the total contract\namount based on contractor’s performance, County needs, and/or\nfunding availability.
