28. Next Steps for The Alliance for Health Integration\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Horvath: Direct the Chief\nExecutive Officer, in collaboration with the Directors of Health Services, Public\nHealth and Mental Health, to retain a consultant to conduct an evaluation of the\nAlliance for Health Integration (AHI) to determine best practices and areas for\nimprovement, and provide recommended options for Board consideration that\nsupport the collaboration between the three Health Departments to improve\naccess to comprehensive health care, and report back to the Board in writing in\n180 days, the consultant services should be offset with existing funding from the\nthree Health Departments, with the report to include feedback from key\nstakeholders including, but not limited to, former AHI staff, the Departments of\nHealth Services, Mental Health, and Public Health, individuals with lived\nexperience, and labor partners, a gap analysis, and an analysis of the staffing\nand reporting structure, priorities, accountability, and recommended options.\n(24-1851)
