1-D. Plumbing Services Contracts\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to execute contracts with No Worries Plumbing and Pipe\nPros Plumbing, Inc., for the provision of plumbing services to various public and\naffordable housing developments and administrative sites managed by the Los\nAngeles County Development Authority (LACDA), using a shared amount of up\nto $2,200,000 in program funds included in the LACDA’s approved Fiscal Year\n(FY) 2023-24 budget and proposed FY 2024-25 budget, effective following\nexecution by all parties; find that approval of the contracts is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act; and authorize the Executive Director to\ntake the following actions: APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contracts to extend the term for an additional\nfour years, in one-year increments, with an annual shared compensation\nof $2,200,000, using funds to be included in LACDA’s annual budget\napproval process;\nAmend the contracts to modify the statement of work, add services, and\nincrease the annual shared compensation by up to $220,000 (10%) per\nyear, as needed for unforeseen costs; and\nUpon determination, and as necessary and appropriate under the terms\nof the contracts, terminate either contract for convenience.
