67. Urban Search and Rescue Training Agreement\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), authorize the Fire Chief to enter into an agreement\nwith the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal-OES) to\nreceive reimbursement for expenses incurred attending and/or conducting\nUrban Search and Rescue (USAR) training in the amount of $519,000 for the\nDistrict’s California Task Force 2 USAR team, the agreement performance\nperiod ends on June 30, 2025, with the option to extend for an additional 12\nmonths, and accept similar future agreements, amendments, grant awards, and\nextensions from Cal-OES for USAR training and exercises in an amount not to\nexceed $600,000; and find that the agreement is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act.
