66. Claims Verification Program Grant Funds\nRecommendation: Adopt and instruct the Chair to sign a resolution authorizing\nthe District Attorney to enter into, and execute an agreement with the California\nVictim Compensation Board (CalVCB) to accept grant funds for the Claims\nVerification Program in the amount of $6,987,666 for three fiscal years,\n$2,329,222 for each fiscal year, during the period of July 1, 2024 through June\n30, 2027, to continue to provide services to victims of crime on behalf of the\nState by processing compensation claims filed by victims; and authorize the\nDistrict Attorney, upon execution of the agreement, to serve as Project Director\nfor the program, this also includes authorization to approve subsequent\namendments, modifications, and/or extensions to the CalVCB grant agreements\nthat have no Net County Cost impact to the County.
