4.5 Approval of Resolutions Related to the November 5, 2024, General\nMunicipal Election\nRecommendation: That the City Council: 1) Adopt a Resolution entitled: "a\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, Calling for the\nHolding of a General Municipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 5,\n2024, for the Election of Certain Officers as Required by the Provisions of the\nLaws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities”; 2) Adopt a\nResolution entitled: "a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laguna Hills,\nCalifornia, Requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to\nConsolidate a General Municipal Election to be Held on November 5, 2024, with\nthe Statewide General Election to be Held on the Same Date Pursuant to Section\n10403 of the Elections Code"; and 3) Adopt a Resolution entitled: "a Resolution of\nthe City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, Adopting Regulations for\nCandidates for Elective Office Pertaining to Candidates’ Statements Submitted to\nthe Voters at an Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024".
