H Consideration and possible action to award a contract to Doug Martin\nContracting Company, Inc., for Placing of Slurry Seal on Various Streets\nIncluding City-Owned Alleyways (Specifications No. 23/24-02); and authorize\nthe City Manager to execute a contract with Doug Martin Contracting\nCompany, Inc., in a form approved by the City Attorney.\nCEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Public\nResources Code §§ 21000, et seq.) and CEQA Guidelines (California Code of\nRegulations, Title 14, §§ 15000, et seq.), the City conducted an environmental\nassessment. Based on the environmental assessment, the project was\ndetermined to be categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines § 15303\n(Class 1 – Existing Facilities).\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Award a contract to Doug Martin for the\nProject and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Doug Martin, in\na form approved by the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other\naction related to this item.\n14 CONSENT CALENDAR – Continued
