CC 10. 2024-2025 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) Project List for Senate\nBill 1, The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017\nRecommendation(s):\nAdopt Resolution No.____ , approving Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) Proposed Project List Form, and\nallocate funds in the fiscal year 2024-2025 Capital Improvement Budget to clarify Road\nMaintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funded projects.\nThe Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), was passed by the\nState Legislature and signed into law by the Governor in April 2017. The bill increases per\ngallon fuel excise taxes, increases diesel fuel state taxes and vehicle registration fees, and\nprovides for inflationary adjustments to tax rates in future years. The purpose of the bill is to\naddress basic road maintenance, rehabilitation, and critical safety needs on both the state\nhighway and local streets and road system.
