7.d. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 24-174,\nAPPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT WITH ECOLANE\nUSA, INC. FOR DEMAND RESPONSIVE SCHEDULING AND\nDISPATCHING SOFTWARE SYSTEM\nThe City of South El Monte Transportation Division provides transportation\nfor the elderly population, people with disabilities, and youth participants.\nThe City has contracted Ecolane USA, Inc. ("Ecolane") to provide a\ndemand responsive scheduling and dispatching software system aimed to\nimprove mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities by removing\nbarriers to transportation service and expanding transportation mobility\noptions. Amendment No.1 will renew and extend the contract service\nagreement for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-174, approving Amendment No. 1 renewing\nand extending the current agreement between the City and Ecolane for\ntwo (2) additional one (1) year terms; and\n2. Authorize City Manager or designee to execute agreement.
