CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 24-173,\nAPPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH\nRIO HONDO COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT FOR FREE-HIGH\nQUALITY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AT THE SENIOR CENTER\nThe Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the City of South El\nMonte ("City") and the Rio Hondo Community College District ("Rio\nHondo") will provide free-high quality educational programs at the Senior\nCenter from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2029.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-173, approving the proposed MOU between\nthe City and Rio Hondo; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
