16. Adopt Resolution for Certification of Disclosures for Interim Funding for East County\nAdvanced Water Purification Program and Related CEQA Exemption\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council adopts the next Resolution, in order, to:\n1. Authorize staff to prepare disclosure information in connection with the issuance\nof obligations by the East County Advanced Water Purification Joint Powers\nAuthority and authorize other actions;\n2. Certify the disclosures for interim notes for a total not-to-exceed amount of\n$400,000,000; and\n3. Authorize the City Clerk to attest to the accuracy of the Resolution and take such\nother actions as may be necessary to demonstrate the Council's adoption of the\nResolution in support of the issuance of debt by the East County Advanced\nWater Purification JPA.\nCOMMISSION REPORTS:\nACTIVITIES REPORTS/COMMENTS OF MAYOR WELLS\nSANDAG (San Diego Association of Governments) Board of Directors.
