F. APPROVAL OF SIX (6) NEW CLASSICATIONS, A COST-OF-LIVING\nADJUSTMENT AND CAFETERIA PLAN INCREASES, AND\nAMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 SALARY SCHEDULE\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council approve the creation of six (6)\nnew classifications including Job Descriptions and Salary Ranges for the\nfollowing positions: Building, Safety & Code Manager, Pay Grade 151;\nDeputy City Clerk III (Part-Time), Pay Grade 135; Housing Manager, Pay\nGrade, 151; Junior Engineer, Pay Grade, 135; Principal Planner, Pay Grade,\n147; Permit Services Supervisor, Pay Grade, 141; and\n2. That the City Council approve the amended salary schedule including the\n3% Cost- of- Living Adjustment (COLA) increases, effective the first pay\nperiod in July 2024; and\n3. That the City Council approve the recommendation to increase the Cafeteria\nPlan Allowance from $1,650 per month to $1,800 per month; and\n4. That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-31, entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nJURUPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE\nCLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION SALARY SCHEDULE\nINCLUDING THE 3% COLA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,\n2024 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025 AND INCREASE THE CAFETERIA\nPLAN ALLOWANCE AND CONDITIONAL MEDICAL OPT-OUT\nINCENTIVE\n18.
