CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH FUSION DEVELOPMENT TO\nCONSTRUCT CIP 2403, WELCOME SIGNS IMPROVEMENT PHASE 2\nAND AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES\nWITH SELBERT PERKINS DESIGN FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES\n[S. GILMOUR]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction\nAgreement with Fusion Development to construct CIP 2403, Welcome\nSigns Improvement Phase 2, and Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for\nServices with Selbert Perkins Design for engineering services to extend\nthe term of the Agreement.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with\nFusion Development in the amount of $389,093.45 for the construction of\nCIP 2403, Welcome Signs Improvement Phase 2; 2) Authorize the City\nEngineer to approve Change Orders to the Construction Agreement in an\namount not to exceed 20% ($77,818.69) of the total Agreement amount;\n3) Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Services with Selbert\nPerkins Design to extend the term of the Agreement through June 30,\n2028; 4) Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute documents\nincident to the Agreements; 5) Authorize the Director of Finance &\nTechnology Services to allocate $61,357.47 from Unallocated Reserves in\nthe General Fund for construction of CIP 2403, Welcome Signs\nImprovement Phase 2, and related costs; and 6) Adopt Resolution No. 24-\n______: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nWEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR THE\nCONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2403, WELCOME SIGNS IMPROVEMENT\nPHASE 2, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6”.
