NAPPER, C.\nLEUNG]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider revising the salary of 1\nclassification, adding 5 new full-time equivalent (FTE) positions,\neliminating 1.25 existing FTE positions, and approving the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 Citywide Salary Schedule.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the salary revision for the\nclassification of Assistant City Clerk from 4280e to 4290e; 2) Approve\nadding 4 full-time equivalent positions starting Fiscal Year 2024-25: a. 1.0\nGeographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst, Information Technology\nDivision, b. 1.0 Senior Planner, Current & Historic Preservation Planning\nDivision, c. 1.0 Senior Plan Check Engineer, Building and Safety Division,\nd. 1.0 Recreation Specialist, Recreation Services Division; 3) Approve\nadding 1 following full-time equivalent position starting Fiscal Year 2025-\n26: a. 1.0 Arts Coordinator, Arts Division; 4) Approve eliminating 1.25 full-\ntime equivalent positions in Fiscal Year 2024-25: a. 1.25 Recreation\nLeader I positions, Recreation Services Division; and 5) Approve the\nFiscal Year 2024-25 Citywide Salary Schedule reflecting all City positions\nand associated salaries to meet the California Public Employees’\nRetirement System requirements of Government Code § 20636(b)(1) and\nCalifornia Code of Regulations § 570.5.
