17. RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH SEQUEL\nCONTRACTORS, INC. FOR THE VARIOUS RESIDENTIAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS\nFY 2022-2023 PROJECT (CIP NO. 3919)\nRecommendation of approval of a Construction Contract with Sequel Contractors, Inc. for the\nVarious Residential Street Improvements FY 2022-2023 project (CIP No. 3919).\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to Sequel Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $799,881.90 for\nthe Various Residential Street Improvements FY 2022-2023 Project (CIP No. 3919); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract and approve change orders\nthat may be necessary during construction to cover any unforeseen condition in an amount not\nto exceed 10% of the Construction Contract.
