The attached Resolution in Support\nof Assembly Bill 2236 (Bauer-Kahan) and Senate Bill 1053 (Blakespear) for a Better Bag Ban\nhelps in addressing the loopholes that allow grocery stores to sell single-use plastic bags by\nrevising the requirements for reusable bags.\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Better Bag Ban Resolution.
