BIENNIAL REVIEW OF THE CITY'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE\nCalifornia Government Code Section 87306.5 requires that local governments conduct a review of\ntheir Conflict of Interest Codes every two years. The City's Conflict of Interest Code determines\nwhich City officials and employee positions must file the Fair Political Practices Commission\nStatement of Economic Interest Form 700.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council by motion direct staff to conduct the biennial\nreview of the City's Conflict of Interest Code and submit any proposed amendments no later than\nOctober 1, 2024, pursuant to Government Code Section 87306.5.
