RESOLUTION NO. 2572 - APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH\nTHE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR PUBLIC SERVICES PROVIDED BY\nTHE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AND\nAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCURE SERVICES OF THE\nLOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT ANNUALLY UP TO\nAN AMOUNT AUTHORIZED IN THE CITY’S OPERATING BUDGET FOR\nTHE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2024 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2029\nMemorandum from Greg Grammer, City Manager and Jessica Slawson,\nManagement Analyst\nRecommendation: That the City Council: 1) adopt Resolution No. 2572 approving\nthe Municipal Law Enforcement Services Agreement between the County of Los\nAngeles and City of Rolling Hills Estates; 2) Authorize the Mayor to execute the\n5-Year Agreement on behalf of the City; and 3) Authorize the City Manager to\nprocure services of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department up to an amount\nauthorized in the City’s annual Operating Budgets for the Period of July 1, 2024\nthrough June 30, 2029.\nAttachments: Staff Report + Resolution No. 2572
