CC 7. Regular Council Meeting Schedule\nRecommendation(s):\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Ratify Resolution No. 24- , setting the regular meeting day and time of the Lancaster\nCity Council.\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute and sign all documents necessary\nto implement this change.\nAt the May 28, 2024 City Council meeting, the City Council modified and approved a\nresolution changing the regular City Council meeting time from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the\n2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, with certain specified exceptions. At the May 28, 2024\nCity Council meeting, the council modified Resolution No. 24-__ as presented to provide (i)\nin the month of March, regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the second\nTuesday of the month at 5:00 PM and the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:30 PM, and (ii) in\nthe month of November, the regular meeting of the City Council shall be held at 5:00 PM on\nthe second Tuesday of the month. The modifications made by the Council from the dais were\nincorporated into Resolution No. 24-__ and are presented to the Council for ratification.\nStaff recommends the Council ratify Resolution No. 24-__ approving the changes to the City\nCouncil regular meeting day and time.
