5.9 Open Space Districts: Initiate Proceedings, Approve the Engineer’s\nReport, Declare the Intention to Levy and Collect Assessments for the\nOpen Space Districts for Fiscal Year 2024/25, and Set a Public Hearing\nReport Number: 24-0084\nLocation: The Open Space Districts are located throughout the City, for specific\nDistrict locations please see attachment 3\nDepartment: Finance\nG.C. § 84308: No\nEnvironmental Notice: The activity is not a "Project" as defined under Section 15378\nof the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines. Therefore, pursuant to\nState Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nAdopt the following resolutions:\nA) Initiating proceedings for the levy and collection of assessments for Fiscal Year\n2024-25 for Open Space Districts 1 through 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 26, 31, 33,\nEastlake Maintenance District No 1, Town Centre Maintenance District, and Bay\nBoulevard Maintenance District pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972;\nB) Approving the Engineer’s Report, declaring the intention to levy and collect\nassessments; and setting a public hearing for July 16, 2024, regarding the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 assessments for Open Space Districts 3 through 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20 (Zones\n1 through 4, 6, 8, and 9), 23, 24, 26, 31, 33, Eastlake Maintenance District No 1, Town\nCentre Maintenance District, and Bay Boulevard Maintenance District;\nC) Approving the Engineer’s Report, declaring the intention to levy and collect\nassessments; and setting a public hearing for July 16, 2024, regarding the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 assessments for Open Space District 1;\nD) Approving the Engineer’s Report, declaring the intention to levy and collect\nassessments; and setting a public hearing for July 16, 2024, regarding the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 assessments for Open Space District 2;\nE) Approving the Engineer’s Report, declaring the intention to levy and collect\nassessments; and setting a public hearing for July 16, 2024, regarding the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 assessments for Open Space District 20 Zone 5;\nF) Approving the Engineer’s Report, declaring the intention to levy and collect\nassessments; and setting a public hearing for July 16, 2024, regarding the Fiscal Year\n2024-25 assessments for Open Space District 20 Zone 7.
