Resolution for FY 2024-25 Appropriations Limit Every year, the City must adopt the annual\nappropriations limit for expenditures paid by tax proceeds, consistent with the requirements of\nCalifornia law. Appropriations financed by service fees, grants and other non-tax revenues are\nexempt. The City's proposed FY 2024-25 budget reflects appropriations well under the limit set\nby law.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt a Resolution titled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN\nAPPROPRIATIONS LIMITATION FOR THE 2024-25 FISCAL YEAR"
