41. 24-53739 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP HE-24-362 and award a\ncontract to April Parker Foundation Inc., of Long Beach, CA, to expand Long\nBeach Activating Safe Communities Program to North Long Beach, in a total\namount not to exceed $777,939, for a period of two years, with the option to renew\nfor three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and,\nauthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter\ninto the contract, including any necessary subsequent amendments; and\nAdopt Specifications No. RFP HE-24-362 and award a contract to Centro CHA\nInc., of Long Beach, CA, to expand Long Beach Activating Safe Communities\nProgram to Central-East Long Beach, in a total amount not to exceed $1,000,207,\nfor a period of two years, with the option to renew for three additional one-year\nperiods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and, authorize City Manager, or\ndesignee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including\nany necessary subsequent amendments.
