2.M. NATIONAL WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH 2023 [Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO, L. FOOKS]:\nThe City Council will consider approval of programming in\ncelebration of National Women’s History Month 2023.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve programming for National\nWomen's History Month 2023 and direct the appropriate City staff\nto coordinate the production and promotion of Women's History\nMonth activities; 2) Authorize the use of the City's name and logo\non invitations, programs, and other collateral materials; 3) Direct\nthe Public Works Department to light the City's lanterns over Santa\nMonica Boulevard in the colors purple and gold from March 5 -\nMarch 22, 2023 to recognize National Women's History Month; 4)\nDirect the Communications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunications tools to promote the City's celebration of National\nWomen's History Month via social media platforms and distribution\nof information; and 5) Approve the waiver of parking fees in the\nfive-story parking structure for 150 attendees of the Women's\nHistory Month Block Party event to be held March 25, 2023 in West\nHollywood Park.\nSTAFF REPORT
