RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH\n6\nSTERNDAHL ENTERPRISES, LLC FOR THE CITYWIDE SHARED BIKE LANE\n(SHARROW) RE-STRIPING PROJECT (CIP NO. 3934)\nRecommendation of approval of a Construction Contract with Sterndahl Enterprises, LLC for the\nCitywide Shared Bike Lane (Sharrow) Re-Striping Project (CIP No. 3934).\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to Sterndahl Enterprises, LLC in the amount of $111,640 for\nthe Citywide Shared Bike Lane (Sharrow) Re-striping Project; CIP No. 3934;\n2. Appropriate an additional $23,000 of Measure M funds and $34,790 of TDA Article 3 funds\nto cover the total estimated project expenditures; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and approve change orders that may\nbe necessary during construction to cover any unforeseen condition in an amount not to\nexceed 5% of the Construction Contract.
