FOR THE SLURRY SEAL IMPROVEMENT ZONE 5 (CIP NO.\n3929)\nRecommendation of approval of a Construction Contract with Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc. for the\nSlurry Seal Improvement Zone 5 (CIP No. 3929).\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc. in the amount of $163,949.88\nfor the Slurry Seal Improvement Zone 5; CIP No. 3929; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and approve change orders that may\nbe necessary during construction to cover any unforeseen condition in an amount not to\nexceed 5% of the construction contract.
