Request of Mayor Brock that the City Attorney and City Manager return to City Council no later than\nJuly 23, 2024 with a proposal to place a parcel tax measure on the November 2024 ballot to\ngenerate resources to address public safety and homelessness. More specifically, the proposed parcel\ntax should generate $7.5 million per year and allow for resources generated by the tax to support\nitems such as enhanced police services, private security in downtown, and multidisciplinary outreach\nteams.
