A. Award of Bid to L.N. Curtis & Sons and Allstar Fire Equipment, Inc. for Purchase of Fire Equipment\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award Bid #4483 to vendors L.N. Curtis & Sons and Allstar Fire Equipment, Inc. for the\npurchase of fire hoses, tools, and other fire equipment;\n2. Authorize the Procurement Manager to issue a separate purchase order with L.N. Curtis\n& Sons for the purchase of fire hoses, tools, and other fire equipment in an amount not to\nexceed $750,000 over a term of five years, with future years funding contingent on\nCouncil budget approval;\n3. Authorize the Procurement Manager to issue a separate purchase order with Allstar Fire\nEquipment, Inc. for the purchase of fire hoses, tools, and other fire equipment in an\namount not to exceed $750,000 over a term of five years, with future year funding\ncontingent on Council budget approval; and\n4. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3)\n(Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines.\na.
