13.c AWARD CONTRACT TO CLARION ASSOCIATES OF DENVER, 51\nCOLORADO, TO CREATE A UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE\nCITY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $428,080 AND APPROPRIATE\nFUNDS FROM RESERVES\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award contract to Clarion Associates of Denver, CO, to complete a\ncomprehensive amendment to the City’s Zoning Ordinance and\ncreate a Unified Development Code in an amount not to exceed\n$428,080.\n2. Appropriate $428,080 from unassigned General Fund Reserve\nmonies to Account No. 1104470-4305000 for Fiscal Year 2024-25.\n3. Authorize the City Attorney to make any necessary non-monetary\nchanges to the agreement.\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute said agreement and\ncontract amendments per Palm Desert Municipal Code Section\n3.30.170.
