M. FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT\nBETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY AND CALMEX\nENGINEERING, INC. FOR MISSION BOULEVARD PAVEMENT\nIMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN RIVERVIEW DRIVE AND CITY LIMITS\n(EAST OF CRESTMORE ROAD) AND LIMONITE AVENUE FROM\nFELSPAR STREET TO BAIN STREET\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council approve the First Amendment to\nthe 2023-2024 Pavement Rehabilitation (ARPA) Project Agreement\nbetween the City of Jurupa Valley and Calmex Engineering, Inc. for an\nadditional $2,160,973 for a total contract amount of $10,804,864.00 to\ninclude pavement improvements on Mission Blvd between Riverview Dr.\nand the City Limit (east of Crestmore Rd) and Limonite Ave from Felspar\nSt to Bain St.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement in substantially the\nform and format attached to the staff report as approved by the City\nAttorney.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent related minor\namendments for any unforeseen conditions to the Agreement with Calmex\nEngineering, Inc., within the approved contract amount.\n4. Authorize the Interim Finance Director to make necessary budget\nadjustments, including the use of ARPA funds for this contract.
