Q. SELECTION OF AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPER FOR AN\nAWARD OF AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) FUNDS\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council select Northtown Housing\nDevelopment Corporation (Northtown) for an award of $990,000 in\nAmerican Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to complete off-site capital\nimprovements for the Rubidoux Gateway Villas project;\n2. Authorize the City Manager and/or designee to enter contract/agreement\nnegotiations with Northtown, including provisions and contingencies\nrequired by the funding source and those stated in the Notice of Funding\nAvailability issued by the City; and\n3. Direct staff to place a contract/agreement with Northtown on a future\nCouncil agenda within 60 days.\n4.
