Curtis in the amount of $101,847.30 for Fire\nDepartment Air Compressor.\nThe Fire Department operates a breathing air compressor to fill Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus\n(SCBA) air bottles at Fire Station One. The compressor is 20 years old, has become unreliable, and\ncan no longer meet the department’s operational need for breathing air.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the Fire Department to issue a purchase\norder to L.N. Curtis of Oakland, California, to provide and install one Stallion Air Centaur 3\nbreathing air compressor at La Verne Fire Station 1.
