Finance – Conduct Public Hearing and Adopt RESOLUTIONS Authorizing and\nDirecting Los Angeles County Assessor to Include Delinquent Solid Waste, Sewer\nDischarge, and Water Usage Fees as a Special Assessment. Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of the Finance Director that City Council:\n1) Conduct a public hearing; and\n2) Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to\ninclude delinquent solid waste fees as a special assessment to be collected at the\nsame time and in the same manner as county taxes; and\n3) Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to\ninclude delinquent sewer discharge fees as a special assessment to be collected at\nthe same time and in the same manner as county taxes; and\n4) Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to\ninclude delinquent water usage fees as a special assessment to be collected at the\nsame time and in the same manner as county taxes.
