Item No. 29. 2024-0572 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF SEVENTH AMENDMENT\nTO NATIONWIDE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES\nAUTHORIZING A 3.48% CONSUMER PRICE INDEX\nCOST OF LIVING RATE ADJUSTMENT AND\nCONTRACT TERMS AND APPROVAL OF\nRESOLUTION NO. 24-059, “A RESOLUTION OF THE\nFISCAL YEAR 2024-25 BUDGET IN THE SPECIAL\nREVENUE FUND"\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. APPROVE the proposed Seventh Amendment to Contract\nServices Agreement between Nationwide Environmental Services,\nInc., a division of Joe's Sweeping, Inc., and City of Carson, to\napprove an annual Consumer Price Index rate adjustment of\n3.48% for FY 2024-25 in a monthly amount not-to-exceed\n$39,601.62, thereby increasing the total annual contract sum under\nthe Agreement to $1,177,579.32, and establish a contract term\nend date of June 30, 2025 with two one-year City options to\nextend; and\n2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Seventh Amendment\nsubject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.\n3.
