9. FY25 California Highway Patrol - Cannabis Tax Fund Grant\nProgram (CTFGP) Award\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council takes the following actions:\n1. Authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to accept the FY25\nCalifornia Highway Patrol - Cannabis Tax Fund Grant\nProgram (CTFGP) Award in the amount of $68,524.50 and to\nexecute any grant documents and agreements necessary for\nthe receipt and use of these funds; and\n2. Appropriates $68,524.50 of the FY25 California Highway\nPatrol - Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program (CTFGP) Award\nto be allocated as follows:\nProcure one SoToxa Mobile Test System in an amount\nnot to exceed $14,000, and one Light Tower Trailer in an\namount not to exceed $20,000, to be used during traffic\nenforcement details including DUI/DL Checkpoints and\nDUI Saturation patrols; and\nFund $34,524.50 in overtime costs associated with\noperating (4) DUI Saturation patrol enforcement details\nand (2) DUI/DL Checkpoints.
