6.E. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF DRAG QUEENS OF COMEDY [J. ERICKSON,\nY. QUARKER, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO, M. MÁRQUEZ]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider Co-Sponsoring Bent\nProductions’ Drag Queens of Comedy event at the City Council Chambers\non Sunday, August 11, 2024.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Authorize the co-sponsorship of Bent\nProduction’s Drag Queen of Comedy event on Sunday, August 11, 2024\nby approving the co-sponsorship Agreement with Bent Productions; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute documents incident to the co-\nsponsorship Agreement; 3) Authorize the use of the City name and logo\non invitations, programs, and other collateral materials for the event; 4)\nDirect the Communications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunications tools to promote the event, including, but not limited to,\nthe City’s website and social media tools; 5) Waive the Facility Use Fee\nfor the City Council Chambers for the event, provide parking validation for\nan estimated one hundred attendees as well as any other ancillary permits\nthat may be required for the event (estimated $1,072 in waived fees); and\n6) Authorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services to allocate\n$5,000 from budgeted funds in the Special Council Programs account\nnumber 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with the event.
