6.F. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF SHOW HER THE MONEY 50 CITY TOUR\nFINALE EVENT [J. ERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, A. LOVANO, L.\nFOOKS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider a request to co-sponsor the\n“Show Her The Money 50 City Tour Finale”, an entrepreneurship focused\nevent to be held Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the West Hollywood City\nCouncil Chambers/Public Meeting Room.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-sponsorship of the “Show Her\nThe Money 50 City Tour Finale” to be held Sunday, October 20, 2024 at\nthe West Hollywood City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to execute documents incident\nto the Co-Sponsorship Agreement between the City and Girls Just Wanna\nHave Funds, LLC; 3) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to approve the use of $2,870 from Fiscal Year 2024-25 budgeted\nfunds in the Special Council Programs account number 100-1-01-00-\n531001 for costs associated with the event; 4) Waive parking at the 5-\nstory parking structure for the event (estimated $900) and waive a film\npermit fee (estimated $1,250); 5) Authorize the use of the City name and\nlogo on invitations, programs, and other collateral materials; and 6) Direct\nthe Communications Department to utilize all appropriate communications\ntools to promote the event such as the City’s website and social media\ntools.
