3.B. COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING, AND ORGANIC\nWASTE CHARGES ON THE TAX ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025\n[H. COLLINS, J. GILMOUR, M. MAGENER]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider\nwhether to collect the annual solid waste, recycling, and organic waste\nfees for residential properties on the property tax roll.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Hold the public hearing on whether to collect\nthe annual solid waste, recycling, and organic waste fees for residential\nproperties on the property tax roll by the County of Los Angeles; 2) If no\nmajority protest is filed, adopt Resolution No. 24-_______: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD ADOPTING THE REPORT PROPOSING TO HAVE\nSOLID WASTE, RECYCLING, AND ORGANIC WASTE CHARGES\nCOLLECTED ON THE TAX ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 AND\nDIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY TO FILE SAID REPORT\nWITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY AUDITOR TO PLACE SAID\nCHARGES ON THE TAX ROLL”; and 3) Direct the City Clerk to request\nLos Angeles County Auditor-Controller to place the charges on the FY\n2024-25 Property Tax Roll.
