Item No. 24. 2024-0600 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF PLANS,\nSPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES AND\nAUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR\nCONSTRUCTION BIDS; AND RECORDING A “NOTICE\nOF EXEMPTION” IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS\nANGELES COUNTY CLERK AND WITH THE STATE\nCLEARING HOUSE FOR PROJECT NO. 1786 - CITY\nHALL BATHROOM AND KITCHENETTE\nRENOVATIONS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF\nTHE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nGUIDELINES (CITY COUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. APPROVE the plans, specifications, and estimates, and order\nthe work for Project No. 1786 - City Hall Bathroom and Kitchenette\nRenovations.\n2. AUTHORIZE staff to advertise the work and call for construction\nbids for Project No. 1786: City Hall Bathroom and Kitchenette\nRenovations.\n3. MAKE the California Environmental Quality Act finding that the\nproposed City Hall Bathroom and Kitchenette Renovations are\ncategorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act guidelines.\n4. AUTHORIZE staff to record the "Notice of Exemption" in the\noffice of the Los Angeles County Clerk and with the State Clearing\nHouse at the Governor's Office of Planning and Research for\nProject No. 1786 - City Hall Bathroom and Kitchenette\nRenovations.\nAttachments: Exhibit 01 Location Map\nExhibit 02 Notice of Exemption
