NIB: MAIN STREET SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT BETWEEN GRANADA\nAVENUE AND EL MOLINO STREET – F2M23-26, N2M23-24\nThe Main Street sewer main between Granada Avenue and El Molino Street is deficient\nin capacity. The existing 8-inch sewer pipe is expected to be surcharged during existing\nand ultimate peak wet weather conditions. The Master Plan recommends replacement of\nthe existing sewer main with a larger diameter sewer main. On September 26, 2022, the\nCity Council approved a contract for engineering design services from West and\nAssociates Engineering Inc. to prepare plans and specifications for the project. The plans\nand specifications have been prepared and reviewed, and they are consistent with the\nCity’s standards.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve the distribution of a Notice Inviting Bids\nto qualified contractors for the Main Street Sewer Replacement Project with bids due no\nlater than 10:30 a.m. on March 30, 2023, and opened at 11:00 a.m. that same day.\n4\n2-27-23
